My Priorities for Ward 4
Listening First. Spending Responsibly. Delivering Results.
I'm running for Ward 4 Councillor to put residents first. These priorities reflect what I'm hearing every day at the doors, in the Community, and in conversations across our neighbourhoods.
1. AFFORDABILITY & RESPONSIBLE SPENDING
Keep taxes as low as possible and get better value for every dollar.
Advocate for responsible budgeting and lower tax increases
Demand clear business cases before major spending decisions
Focus on maintaining existing infrastructure before expanding services
Improve transparency so residents understand where their tax dollars are being spent
3. SAFER & STRONGER NEIGHBOURHOODS
Strong communities start with safe streets and great public spaces.
Support traffic calming where it is needed
Advocate for well-maintained parks, trails, and public spaces
Support recreation opportunities for residents of all ages
Work with residents to address neighbourhood concerns and quality-of-life issues
5. MANAGING GROWTH RESPONSIBLY
Growth should strengthen our community, not increase costs reduce quality of life.
Support infrastructure that keeps pace with growth
Advocate for responsible planning decisions
Protect the character and livability of Ward 4 neighbourhoods
Ensure growth is considered alongside its impact on taxes, traffic, and services
